I did not know Tom I have actually only met Tom once but he and his mother had a Huge impact on me. I delivered medicine to thier home and spoke with mom for quite awhile before she ask me if I wanted to meet Tom so she took me downstairs to meet him. Needless to say I was Blown away with Toms's Spirit and his Amazing ability to make me smile and I felt something Special while I was there. I was so excited when I left your home that I told everyone about my experience and how I couldn't wait to get to know Tom better. I had plans to take time to get to know Tom and Mom better everything I had deliver to the home. After all they had been thru they both were so oleas3nt and happy and just a joy to be around. I thought at that moment how I would never forget those few minutes I had qith your family and how special of a life lesson I got that day. After reading his obituary I realized what a Huge Loss this was for not only me but all of State College. I apologize for any mistakes in this but I am attempting to do this on my phone and me and technology are still trying to get along. You have my Most Sincere Sympathy and I look forward to learn more about Tom in the future.

I'm sorry to hear of the passing of Tom. I didn't know him very well, but spent all kinds of time with the swimmers of the Kleban family! Did have a few occasions to talk to Tom - he obviously had a great spirit for life! I wish him well in his journey - he is now able to run, jump, swim, and all those activities again! To Patti and all - I hope all your happy memories of Tom will give you strength during this difficult time!

I am so sad to hear this news. Thoughts and prayers go out to the family. I helped take care of Tom at physical therapy and he was always so competitive even in his therapy. He would always want to be timed on how long it took him to get to the door and back in his wheelchair with the use of special gloves and wheels he had. He was so inspiring and I loved working with him. He was always so kind and pleasant. We could all learn lessons from him and how he lived his life. Being a runner myself it made me appreciate my abilities and to not take anything for granted even on days that I didn’t feel the best or want to go out for a run.

I was blessed to know tommy as i worked for rider motors when he had ordered his special needs van Tommy had a wonderful outlook on life that always amazed me. His parents devotion and love was unmatched. I later worked
In insurance and worked with Doc again . Id see Tommy at events with his parents and he remembered me and greeted with me a smile. My prayers thoughts are with the family.
