Obituary of Norma L. McCarl

Norma L. McCarl, 96, of State College passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. Born November 2nd, 1927 in Cooperstown, she was the youngest of 8 children born to Clinton and Lois Brown Lesh.

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard, sons David and Patrick McCarl.

Norma enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, reading, making quilts, bowling, mahjong, and spending time with her family, friends, and beloved dog Remi.

She is survived by her son Eric, daughter in-law Julie, granddaughters Erin and Amanda of CA; grandson Christopher McCarl  and his wife, Kelly of State College and grandson Cyrus McCarl of Loganton, PA; and great grandsons Keegan and Asher of State college.

Family and friends will be received at the family home, 1110 Westerly Parkway, State College from 4-6 pm on Wednesday, May 22, 2024.

Funeral service will be at 11 am Thursday, May 23, 2024 at State College Presbyterian Church, 132 W. Beaver Ave, State College. Interment will be at Centre County Memorial Park, 1032 Benner Pike, State College.
