Obituary of Douglas Johnson

Douglas William Johnson, 55, of Lemont, died Sunday, April 8, 2012 at The University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. Born August 1, 1956, in Boulder, Colorado, he was a son of the late Donald William Johnson and Joyce Colene Young Johnson, who survives of State College. On December 15, 2011 he married the former Teresa Packard, who also survives of Lemont. He was preceded in death by a sister, Julie Ann Johnson and a brother, Paul Edwin Johnson. Along with his mother and wife he is survived by a brother, Mark David Johnson and his wife, Amy, of College Station, Tennessee. Douglas was the former President of Alto Glass of Altoona and Glass Incorporated of State College and most recently he was the owner/operator of Pleasant Glass. He was a former member of the Rotary Club, and enjoyed working with stained glass and woodworking, Friends will be received from 6 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S.
