Obituary of Jane Robb

Jane Marie Robb 80 a resident of State College died Saturday, January 15, 2011 at the Mount Nittany Medical Centre. Born on July 22, 1930 in Lemont, the daughter of the late Elizabeth Williams Frantz. She was reared by her late grandparents John and Ann Williams formerly of Lemont. On December 29, 1946 in Boalsburg she married the late Cloyd Blair Robb, who predeceased her on March 31, 2005 following 59 years of marriage. She is survived by two daughters and one son, Connie J. Tomco and husband John and Valerie L. Emel and husband David both of State College, and James B. Robb and wife Pat of Philipsburg. Also surviving are four sisters and one brother, Leona Bumbarger of State College, Deanna Prisk and Linda Laird of Stormstown, Hassel Frantz of Julian and Fred Weaver and wife Ann of Lemont. Jane is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Kelly Barbery and husband Marcus, Carrie Tomco, Jimmy Robb and wife Kim, Tammy Minarchick and husband Jim, Christina Houser and husband Mark, Ashley Emel, David Emel II and Dustin Emel and 5 great grandchildren Tiffany Bowman, Cassidy Bowman, Jazlyn Robb, Carly Robb, Starlynn Emel and Shelby Emel. She was predeceased by a sister Marjorie Osmond. She was employed as a cafeteria worker in the State College Area School district. A funeral service will be held at the Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton Street, State College on Wednesday, January19, 2011 at 3:00P.M. with Deacon Michael Ondik officiating. Burial will be in Houserville Cemetery.
