Obituary of Dorothy Dalbor
Dorothy Elizabeth Green Dalbor, "Dotty", 83, of State College, died Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at Mount Nittany Medical Center.
Born January 6, 1930, in Coraopolis, she was the daughter of the late Samuel A. and Georgia Davis Green. On September 1, 1951, in Coraopolis, she married John B. Dalbor, who survives. She is also survived by two sons, Steven Dalbor and his wife, Joanne Leatherman, of Lancaster and Michael Dalbor and his wife, Cynthia, of Henderson, NV; two step-grandchildren, Nicholas Heimer of San Luis Obispo, CA. and Stephanie Heimer of Henderson, NV.
She graduated from Coraopolis High School and received a BA in Business Education from Penn State.
Dotty was a business teacher at Port Matilda High School and West Allegheny High School for several years.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church of State College and a member of the Penn State Alumni Association.
Dotty enjoyed reading, gardening, flower arranging, and political history.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m., Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Koch Funeral home, 2401 S. Atherton Street, State College, with the Reverend Dr. G. Edwin Zeiders officiating.
Burial will be private.
