Obituary of Jerldene Schoen

Jerldene V. Schoen, 72, of Pennsylvania Furnace, died Tuesday, September 17, 2013, at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College. Born May 13, 1941, in State College, she was the daughter of the late Cloyd and Florence Barto Cronemiller. In 1973 she married John Schoen Sr. who preceded her in death. She is survived by eight children, John Jackson, Cheryl Swavely, Karen Whetstine, Gerald Schoen, Jan Cronister, John Schoen Jr., Cathy Bass and David Schoen, Jr; three sisters, Mary Morris, Eileen DeHoff and Mildred Grubb; fourteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She graduated from State College High School. Jerldene retired from Centre Crest Nursing Home as an LPN. She enjoyed quilting. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
