Obituary of Terry Todd
Terry Norman Todd, 78, of State College, died Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at his residence.
Born April 24, 1935, in East Liverpool, OH, he was the son of the late Lawrence Hill and Kathryn Harries Todd. On October 10, 1987, in Groton, MA, he married Carolyn MacDougall who survives.
He is also survived by three children, Terri Lynn Monroe of Allentown, Kathryn Giannascoli and her husband, Thomas, of North Wales and Robert Todd and his wife, Lourdes, of Prescott, AZ; four grandchildren, Amanda and Sarah Giannascoli and Miranda and Michael Todd; one great-grandson, Dylan Thomas Palumbo; and his first wife, Sandra Todd of Allentown. He was preceded in death by his son in-law, James Monroe.
Terry was a 1953 graduate of East Liverpool High School. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH, in 1957.
He spent over 30 years employed by Air Products and Chemicals in Trexlertown, where his last position was in general management. He retired in 1995.
He was a Penn State Football enthusiast since 1970, and witnessed 426 games in person. Between 1990 and 2012, he attended 282 consecutive football games in a row, which included all home games, away games and bowl games. Golf, sailing, vacations in Maine, and Formula One Racing were also passions.
Terry was a member of the Centre Hills Country Club, the State College Quarterback Club and the Nittany Lion Club.
Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m., on Saturday, January 11, 2014, at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 South Atherton Street, State College.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m., on Sunday, January 12, 2014, at the funeral home with Pastor Chris Thomas officiating.
Burial will be in Spring Creek Cemetery.
