Obituary of Adeline Woodruff

Adeline Woodruff, a resident of State College, died peacefully February 2, 2014. She was born June 1, 1914, the daughter of Charles and Mary Geiger, in Paterson, New Jersey, where she was also a long time member of the First Baptist Church. Adeline and her husband Harold, who preceded her in death in 1996, moved to State College in 1988. Adeline was the youngest of her generation, she was also the last member of it, surviving her five brothers and sisters, their spouses, and ten of the sixteen nieces and nephews of her and her husband's families. She is survived by her two sons, Harold Jr. of State College, and Donald of Bangor, Pennsylvania. She also leaves seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Known for her humor and pleasant nature, she will be missed by all. There will be no visitation but a prayer service will be held at Koch's Funeral Home Thursday, February 6, 2014, at 10 AM. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa, New Jersey.
