Doris loved her church, First Church of Christ, Scientist, State College. She was a garden designer at heart and spent many summer days working in her own garden, starting with an early morning review with tea cup in hand. She also had a great love of all animals, large and small. Through the years she provided love to and was loved by many orphan cats. We all will miss her quick wit and special smile.
Services will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to be sent to either First Church of Christ, Scientist, 617 E. Hamilton Ave., State College, 16801, or Alley Cat Rescue, P.O. Box 585, Mt. Rainier, MD 20712.
