Ed, I'm sending this message on behalf of Norma Kinard, who has had a stroke and is limited in what she can do. She asked me to convey her sympathy to you and your family, and that she is thinking of you. John and I continue to lift you and the family in prayer during this sad time.

Behind every great man in ministry stands a strong woman of faith. Ed and Eddy, everyone who knew her was blessed by how the light of Christ shone through her. Until the last trumpet shout, may your memories of her and the love with which she filled your home be your comfort. Peace unto you all.

Ed: Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you mourn Joan's passing. Glenda and I are grateful for the years of ministry we shared beside you and Joan during the time you Superintended the Wellsboro District. The two of you were more helpful than you ever knew as we were beginning our time in ministry. Our son Christopher, whom you baptized and then years later Pastored while he was a PSU student also sends his condolences. Blessings to you and your family during these difficult days.

My wife and I knew Joan through our son, Rob, who attended UTS while Ed and Joan were at UTS. Joan was one of the important people who helped us as we were going through grief because of the death of Rob. She will definitely be missed by many.
