Kerri & Reenie, So sorry to hear about Walt.... We were your friends from Rehoboth Beach (Edgewater House) from the 80's. They were the best times and Walt was such a proud, doting father! May you find comfort in your memories. God Bless.

I'll always appreciate Uncle Walt for the way he collaborated with Aunt Rini to raise Kerri, with love and security that allowed her to thrive as the
sunny, affectionate, interesting beauty that we all love so much. They didn't just pay lip-service to putting her first. I'm sure I'm not the only parent who was positively influenced by their co-parenting.

Walt,,
Thanks for the great times and encouraging talks. You will be miss in person, but honored in our hearts and minds. You will be referenced when we need advice and spoken about when we need to be grounded. Thank you for you inspiration and loving talks. You will surely be missed here on earth but remembered for eternity. You were not only known as Kerri's Dad, you were my friend. I love you big guy!! You are what a true Viking is made of! No is your time to rest and relax. We will see you on the other side. Say hello to my Mom, you two will get along great. Until we see one another again, I will be thinking if you and remembering our chats.
Love always,
Randy and the Doiron's

Kerri, Jim, Rini and Rhoda,
I am so saddened to hear of Walter's passing. I will always remember him smiling and being so excited about planning Kerri and Jim's wedding! Fathers aren't always as enthusiastic about spending money but Walter "got it" and embraced it. Lots of love to you all in this time and know that I am always here for you.

My thoughts are with Walt's family , although we never meant in person we spoke on the phone. He was always a joy to talk to. When I was going thought breast cancer he mailed a candle to each of my co-workers at Asher's Chocolates and asked them to light the candle and pray for me. I was so touched by this I couldn't thank him enough.
I will miss our witty conversations.. trully a great person! He will be missed.

Jim ,Kerri and Rini
There are no words to neutralize your tears.
I would like you to convert your tears of sorrow to tears of happiness. Let's celebrate Walt's life and all the great times. As a father husband and friend he shed his charm, wit and caring to all.
Most important to Kerri and I don't want you to forget it because I lost my dad and I have used this for myself.
1 When anyone asks "do you miss your dad
The correct answer is no. You follow it by saying Dad has just changed his address and I think and communicate with him everyday.
Walt would want this and he was so happy for you and Jim
The first time I met him he told me when you would drive to PA. to see him he was so happy, but was very nervous when you left to go home driving that long distance by yourself. Then you went to visit him with Jim and told him you were engaged and he was so happy. After meeting jim and spending a few days he said"I know she is safe and I don't have to worry anymore.
What a great couple!
Remember all the great times and I am sure there are many.
God Bless Walt
He was truly a great man.
