Dear Ann and Family,
I was privileged to know you for a brief while, but in that time I enjoyed your loving friendship more than words can express. I was touched by your relationship and even though Roy wasn't feeling his best then, no one would've known. Thank you for sharing your precious time with me, and taking selfies outside the restaurant! I am thankful I have those pictures to reflect on. I hold you close in my heart yesterday, today and always.

Ann, Please know you are in my thoughts and pryers in the loss of your beloved Roy. He was a good man and I enjoyed our conversations when I was able to visit. You two were a great married couple, caring for each other and all your family members. Roy proved to all that a gentleman could be a good umpire/ref for many softball activities. He lived his life by a simple rule book, the "Golden Rule".
Sincerely,
V

We were so saddened to hear of Roy's passing - he fought a brave battle but never once complained. He was such a sweet man and always greeted us with his sweet smile and a warm hug - he reminded me so much of my own dad. Roy has earned his wings and umpiring the biggest game of his life with those who have gone before him, including another great man, Don (Beatie) Meyers. RIP sweet man!
