Dottie was not only my patient, but also a friend and fellow gardener. As her family physician, I came to know both Dottie and Lloyd rather well these past several years. You have to admire two people who have created in their lives so much to respect.
I will miss seeing Dottie in the office and also at her home, where she often spoke fondly of memories from her long and full life. If there are gardens in heaven, surely Dottie will be there.
