On March 10, 1956, she married Earl A. Myers, and the two enjoyed 56 wonderful years of marriage until Earl passed away on December 4, 2012. A loving mother, Bea reared two children who survive her: daughter Dawn Myers of State College, and son Glenn Myers and his wife Sharon of St. Bonifacius, MN. She is also survived by her sister Olive Carlson of Arlington, MA, brother Everett Morrow and wife Betty of Glasgow, PA, and brother George Morrow and wife Rose of Bellwood, PA. She was preceded by her sisters Marie Benn and Alverta Lovell. Bea graduated from the Lutheran Deaconess School in Baltimore, MD, served four years as Director of Christian Education at Reformation Parish in Detroit, received her B.A. from Susquehanna University, taught two years at the Lutheran Deaconess School, and earned her M.A. in education from New York University. After marrying Earl at Grace Lutheran Church in State College, she served the congregation many years as Director of Christian Education. She loved to teach children and adults, as well as train teachers. Bea led various retreats, workshops and conferences, and taught classes in leadership education. She wrote Christian education materials and articles for the Lutheran Church in America, and served on a number of synodical committees.
