Obituary of Merle Smith

Merle Smith, 43, of Clearfield, passed away Friday, October 3, 2014 at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College. Merle was born June 1, 1971. He lived in Titusville until he became a truck driver which took him many places throughout the United States, with the last job being with Engles trucking of Franklin. Merle enjoyed spending time with his daughter Jade, watching movies and traveling. He is survived by his mother, Patricia Wolfe and her companion, Randy Stewart, of Titusville; his daughter, Jade Smith of Kittaning; three sisters, Sheila Timbs of Emlenton, Dianne Smith of North Carolina and Stephany Miller of Erie; his companion of nine years, Lisa Conaway of Clearfield; numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m., on Saturday, October 18, 2014, at the Titusville Alliance Church, 520 West Central Ave., Titusville, with Pastor Leroy E. Learn Sr. officiating.
