To the Childen of Mrs. Voight,Susie, Missy, Wally and Del,
When reading the local New Jersey Herald, I felt a great sadness when I read about the passing of your Mom. Every day when I pass your old house on Sid Taylor Road, all the old fond memories of being with you and your Mom and Dad come to surface. Even though it has been many a year since we have been in touch, you are thought of often. Please except my sympathies. I really liked your mom and dad and loved being around you kids.
I am still living in Hampton Heights in the home I grew up in and have been a teacher at Lafayette School for 36 years. I'm sure you and your children are as nice as you were when you were little! If there is any time you are back in the neighborhood...
So sorry for your loss.
With prayers,
Your babysitter,
Barbara Weiss Morgan

Dear Voight Family and friends,
Charlotte was an all-round lovely person, a dedicated and caring teacher, who touched the lives of so many children at McKeown School in Hampton Township, Sussex County, New Jersey. She was lots of fun to work with, and as the art teacher at McKeown, I enjoyed her support of the arts, while we worked on projects for the children together. She was blessed with a wonderful husband, Del, who passed too soon, and the great family she loved, whom I know will dearly miss her as we will. May God bless her family with the wonderful memories they share of Charlotte. Thinking of you all at this difficult time.

Our family mourns the loss of our friend, Charlotte. She made quite an impression on our three children when they were in her class at McKeown School. All three attended Penn State where she was their guardian angel and surrogate mom. We love her and will miss her.

I had the pleasure of serving on the Penn State College of Education Alumni Society Board with Charlotte. What an intelligent, caring, enthusiastic, positive woman... She was so passionate about supporting student teachers and Penn State, a wonderful role model for me. I so enjoyed talking with her at board meetings and learned how much she LOVED to attend all of her grandchildren's sporting events. She was a class act. I am very saddened to hear of her passing and will keep her family in my prayers.

Charlotte was a wondrous pip of a person, spirited, caring and full of fun. I rejoice that Del & she passed their genes on to a splendid family, now unto many generations, guaranteed. Charlotte was generous, loyal and will be missed.

Dear Voight family, I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. What an awesome woman she was! I had the pleasure of knowing her as your mom in KRHS and then the greatest opportunity of teaching with her at McKeown. I learned so much from her. God bless you all.

Dear Voight Family;
My expression of sympathy comes from 2 sides. First, as a teacher at McKeown School, I want you to know that many happy memories were shared when we heard the news. She was truly an amazing influence on so many childrens' lives and the school community. Second, as a member of the Freeborn family, we also send our condolences from the agricultural community. I am sure your Dad has welcomed her home. God Bless all of you during this difficult time.

My cousin Charlotte will always remain in my memories. Unfortunately, living far away from Pensylvania the last 14 years kept us from sharing our lives in person and we kept in touch via email and Facebook. Even though I was a Pitt graduate, Char never failed to keep trying to interest me in Penn State football, and I'll admit that I do watch some of their games when available in my area. I believe that she and Del can now watch all the games with a great view from above the 50 yard line. We'll miss you Char.
