I knew Tom in Salt Lake City through hockey. We coached our boys together for a handful of years. I think of Tom now and then, and always fondly. Was indeed a great guy and a devoted father! Always willing to help. Always entertaining and interesting. RIP Tom - you are missed :-)

Thomas Horgos was an amazing person it is extremely heart breaking that he left us so unexpectedly. Thomas helped me get through a very difficult part of my life and taught me that being happy and doing what you love is the most important thing in life and I will never forget that or him. My condolences to Tom's family, I know he could never be replaced and his memory will never be forgotten and I hope that you have all found a way to heal and come together that is what Tom would have wanted.

When I received this message I could not believe someone could be taken away that had more to give to life. Tom and his sons Josef and Petr have participated in the Keystone State Games with us for 3 years and he will certainly be missed with his wisdom, humor and friendship. Sorry to hear that Tom has passed on.I remember him as a happy kid that was always smiling at Sickman Elementary
