Obituary of Patrick LeCouvre
Patrick Joseph LeCouvre, 60, of State College, passed away Tuesday, April 12.2011, at Geisinger Medical Center, in Danville, from complications of the heart. Patrick was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on November 15. 1950 and was the son of Donald and Ruth Friday LeCouvre. In his youth, Patrick moved to California where he met and married on April 7, 1973, his love and wife of 38 years, the former Stephanie Ostoin. Patrick pursued and obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Cal State Fullerton in 1976. Patrick also served his country proudly in the U.S. Army Special Forces, Green Berets, from 1969-1973. Patrick is survived by wife, Stephanie Sue LeCouvre; son Joseph LeCouvre ; son Daniel LeCouvre all of State College; and daughter, Kathleen Kellogg and her husband Thomas of Spring Lake, North Carolina. Patrick is also survived by his mother and step-father, Ruth and George Puskarich of State College. Patrick is preceded in death by his sister, Dawn LeCouvre - Handy; and father Donald LeCouvre. Patrick enjoyed working on, and showing his sports cars with sons Joseph and Daniel. He was also a proud Penn State Dad and loved tailgating at the Penn State football games with family and close friends, cheering on his Nittany lions. Patrick was, and is, loved by many and liked by all who had the honor of knowing him. Friends will be received at the Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton Street, State College, PA on Thursday, April 14, 2011 from 6 until 8 pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, April 15, 2011 at 11am. Interment will be in Mt .Prospect Cemetery in Hickory, PA. Arrangements are under the direction of the Koch Funeral Home. On line condolence may be made at www.kochfuneralhome.com
