Obituary of Mary Quick

Mary Ann Quick, 94, of State College, died Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College. Born June 11, 1920 in Clarence, she was the daughter of the late Ignas and Nellie Venzlouskas Yecina. She married Mahlon A. Quick on December 3, 1945, who survives at home. She is survived by a brother, Stanley Yecina and his wife, Lynn, of State College, a sister, Ellen Vozniak, of Snow Shoe, three grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great great grandson. She was preceded in death by a son, Ira A. Quick and a granddaughter, Patty Ann Wagner. She was employed with Sylvania Tube Works in Mill Hall as a parts inspector during WWII. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in State College. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, February 2, 2015 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic, 820 Westerly Parkway, State College with the Reverend Neil Dadey officiating. Burial will be in Centre County Memorial Park.
