My lovely husband Rolando, today Wednesday, April 6, 2016 has been14 months since you passed away to be with the Lord. The only comfort that I have is that you are in a better, wonderful and divine dimension, which we call Heaven. Thank you for all the unforgettable moments in our lives, for being a wonderful husband, and a great friend.
Everyday I think of you; you always will be in my heart until the moment we will be together for ever! I love you to infinity and beyond...
Your lovely wife,
Maritza

Dear Maritza - I was planning to come to the funeral, but I had something come up that prevented me from attending. I was so sorry to hear about Rolando's passing. I remember so well when Rolando and you got married, which now only seems like yesterday. May you find comfort in the memories you created with him and in your family.

Dear Maritza..Our hearts are filled with sadness at Rolando's passing. He was such a special human being and every time I saw him was greeted with such a warm beaming smile and he always asked about my family. He was always happy and I'm so glad I had the chance to know him. He loved softball and I was fortunate (as was my husband) to play on several teams with him. He was a talented athlete and made playing so much fun. Rolando also loved children and always made a fuss over our kids when they were babies up until they were young adults. Rolando was a special man in so many ways and had such a big heart. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you Maritza as you have been so strong through these years of his illness. Take care and God Bless..Amy and Kevin

Dear Maritza and family, Rolando was a hard working, warm and friendly presence at the workplace, and a caring individual. I recall how well you took care of him and noticed what a wonderful influence you had on his life along with the wonderful food you cooked and packed in his lunches. May your memories help to console you. Jill Roland

Dear Family,
Rolando was the first person I met when I started in Acquisitions at Pattee Library in the early 90's. Such a gentleman and, as a Spanish major, we got to speak it together and shared a fine friendship. Here's a pic from a group summer gathering. Nunca se olvidar ... Karl Shipman

I am saddened by this news. Rolando was a glowing light at the library, so far as I was concerned, when I worked there. His ebullient personality, infectious smile and warmth toward all brightened many a day for me, and for others. I have many fond memories of him, and am grateful and honoured to have known him. My condolences to the family.
