Dear Audrey, Peter, grandchildren, Adam and Emma When I lived in State College with my husband and three children we were close friends. Audey was always mentoring me on how to be a faculty wife, student and mother. Allan would be sitting in his chair with his pipe discussing the issues of the day. He was a quiet man with passionate love for his family and life. I regret the long interval in his later life that took such a toll on him and the family, He was so blessed to have Audrey care for his every need, I hope Audrey reaches out at this time to all of her friends who are waiting to embrace her. I will always remember the excited barking of the dogs, the smell of good food and the lively discussion of Italy and travel with the best hostess and host in State College. Love, Myrna
