Craig & Family, My deepest sympathies at the passing of Margaret, I remember her from our school days, a warm loving person. As kids running up and down 6th & St.Louis street, grabbing a coke at the corner garage, running in and out of the hardware store.... Cherish your memories.... Blessings in Christ, Anne Snyder Elliott

Just wanted to share with you that on Monday morning, one of my student teachers honored Margaret by having all of the students in his class determine where North was. He got out the compass and passed on the baton of learning to a new generation of students! I know your mom is smiling because she meant so much more to us than she ever realized. My sincerest sympathy.

I was so sad to hear this news. Dr. Pursell was my favorite professor from LHU. She saw me through all 4 years and was always there if I needed someone to talk to. Her encouraging words helped me though many hard times. I still pull out e mails she sent me when I need a pick me up. She will truly be missed.

My condolences to the family of Margaret Pursell. I had interacted with Margaret a few times over the years, but our paths did not intersect very often. When they did, I enjoyed her positive attitude and sense of humor. The obituary you wrote is just lovely and attests to a loving family who has suffered a great loss.

Over her years at LHU, I had many discussions with Margaret over the wait for the copy machine on our floor. We talked about education, God, family, husbands, pets, the great outdoors, children's literature, TRUE historical facts and food! I will miss her greatly. To her family - she loved and adored you all with passion. She smiled as she spoke of each of you, especially before her car ride home at the end of the day. I will be praying for all of you. Thanks for sharing Margaret with me!
