I didn't know Dan well while in State College, but we connected via Facebook and I'm so grateful that we did, as it became obvious what a great guy he was and how successful he was as a human being -- even though enduring unthinkable sorrow. He had the love and respect of many and was quite obviously very much loved by his family.
My heartfelt sympathy. I know the full life Dan lived will bring comfort to you all.
