Obituary of Annette V. Cardone

Annette V. Cardone, 77, of State College, formerly of Mine Hill, New Jersey, died on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Mt. Nittany Medical Center, State College. Born April 17, 1937, in Galloway, WV, she was the daughter of Luigi and Assunta Cavaretta Derosa. Annette married Rudolph A. Cardone, on April 14, 1962, who preceded her in death on July 6, 1987. Annette is survived by her daughter, Annette L. Yorks and husband, Jerry, of State College; son, Rudolph A. Cardone and wife, Jackie, of Rockledge, FL; grandchildren, Justin Agostinelli and his wife, Bridget, Krystal Koch and her husband, Jon, Marcus Agostinelli, Matthew Agostinelli and Beth and Toni Cardone; six siblings, Rose Sylvestry, Sam Derosa, Frank Derosa, Don Derosa, Mary Derosa, and Phinia Kostka. In addition to her parents and husband, Rudolph, Annette was preceded in death by nine of her siblings. Annette was a cake decorator for A&P in Budd Lake, NJ and later worked at McDonalds in Ledgewood, NJ. She retired from Shoprite Grocery Store in Rockway, NJ where she worked in the Deli. In her free time, Annette loved playing cards and bingo. She also enjoyed crafts. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be private in Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover, NJ.
