A great mentor. I often talked about him, his approach to teaching, research, and administration. I owe Dean and his patient guidance a debt of gratitude for the path I have followed. I fondly recall our last phone conversation where I was trying to track down some information about opportunities and connecting back in with PSU. I recall one of his sayings, 'Don't hide your light under a bushel." He did not. The world is a better place for all of us because he heeded his own advice. Thanks Dean Jansma for the lighted path.
