I attended Penn State as an undergraduate from 1981-85. I later returned and completed my Masters degree there as well. I currently am in my thirtieth year of teaching agriculture in the state of Pennsylvania. Dr. Scanlon had his own unique way about him. His dedication to the Ag Ed community is truly his legacy. I know he always mentioned his family and held them in a special place. I hope you find comfort in knowing that he influenced many lives and his legacy does live on.
