I only just saw Alice's name in the church bulletin for an Mass today. I remember both her and her husband fondly from many visits in my veterinary hospital. Please accept my deepest sympathy to your family in the loss of your mom.

To the Brahosky Family,
Our deepest sympathy at the passing of your Mother, Grandmother, Aunt and Friend.
Alice was indeed a great lady and her smile and caring nature will be missed. Always quick with a joke but equally giving of her time and talents we know the angels lead her to paradise and the Good Lord welcome her with open arms.
We are so sorry we were not able to make the funeral or viewing. In her spirit of care giver, we have been doing the same for Bob's Aunt - 94 years young who recently had a car accident. We have been by her side at both UPMC Presbyterian Hospital Pittsburgh as well as UPMC Mercy Rehab while she takes step to heal from a brain injury. During that delicate time we felt we could not leave her. She did not have children and Uncle John passed 8 years ago so she relied on Bob & I.
She is now safely on the road to recovery.
Rest assured we have kept all of you in prayer for strength during this difficult time.
Rena & Bob Pytlak

For a while, before she could remember my name, she often said to me "hey little girl...". Eventually though, she did learn my name and never forgot it! She offered me support through some difficult times, especially while I was working my way through nursing school. She will be missed by so many. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

To the Brahosky family,
First of all allow me to offer my condolences on the loss of such a beloved family member. I met Alice 13 years ago when I started working at Mount Nittany Medical Center, still Centre Community Hospital at the time, as a CNA. Just after I started working there, I was assigned to work in the "Joint Program" with her, a task for which I had not yet been specifically trained. I was told, "Don't worry, you're with Alice you'll be fine", which of course I was. That week, she really took me under her wing, and showed me exactly what to do and how to do it. She really made me feel welcome, and before long, thanks to Alice, I was proficient in the tasks involved in taking care of patients who had just had joint replacement surgery. I will miss Alice very much. She had a special place in my heart as does your entire family. I have so many vivid memories of time spent with Alice over recent years as well as with Al many years ago. She is a one in a billion type of person and I consider myself very fortunate to have known her and to have her be part of my life from birth. We may have lost an incredible person on Earth but Heaven just received one of their best angles.

To The Brahosky Family,
I'm so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She was a wonderful lady, and nurse, and always looked for the best in people. I have fond memories of conversations with her at the hospital, she was so proud of all of you. No wonder that you all are such great people, and will carry her spirit on with your families. May she be at peace, and you as well!
Warm Regards,
John Lundy and Family.
