Hello,
I worked with Bill in the Service Delivery group. I am unable to attend the services, but I wanted to offer my condolences. Bill was the most positive people I have ever met and was always teaching me to look for the silver lining of any situation. With some of the things that have been happening personally and professionally, Bill gave me a valuable coping tool. Any time that things were difficult or unclear, Bill would accept it and say "It's ok", and then talk about how to turn it around into something positive. It is a lesson I will never forget and one that will stay with me. I am thankful every day for what Bill has taught me. He was an amazing person and my life is brighter for knowing him.

Words can not express my sadness for your loss of TBill. In my time with him here in Shields one could always count on a smile from him. My favorite talk with him centered on grouse hunting. He told me he hunted grouse-oh. A grouse would flush and he would say GROUSE....oh. And by that time the shot was over. Remember him and he will always be with you.

I have known Bill since Junior High School and can say that he is one of the few people who ALWAYS had a smile on his face and exuded a happiness that was catchy. How many people can do that in those awkward teen years? Years later, Facebook and class reunions brought us all back together and we were blessed to reacquaint and meet his beautiful wife Anne Marie who will remain an honorary class of 79 MASH alum. Bill was always so proud of his family - full of a father's love for his children; sweet, kind and loving with his wife; and lucky to have his father still in his life as a central figure. Our last class reunion was such a wonderful time filled with old memories, new memories and music. I will always treasure this time. Such a sad time for all of us, so I can only imagine the grief and sadness his family is feeling. I hope you find Bill still with you - in a smile, in a song, in a funny math problem. Prayers for peace as you process this great loss.

To Annmarie and the whole family, I wish to offer my condolences. Bill was such a nice guy. He was always so nice to me during our school years together. He was one of the few people who shared my interest in the Billboard pop chart. And in recent years we had such good times at JoJo's, Jubilee Day and the class reunion. I have a hard time believing that he is gone. I will definitely miss his presence in the future. I wish comfort to all of you.
