Dear Todd, Margie, and all your family members,
Knowing all of you so well, you are the greatest tribute to Marge and her life. The loss of our mother is the deepest grief a child can feel. Even though we see our parents age and change, and ultimately become their caregivers, we still hold the person whose love bonded us to the world unconditionally. I cry as I write, since we empathize completely with the struggle of her illness and death that you faced. I want to tell you what a wonderful work you did in caring for her, it is one of the most challenging we face in our lives. Now the peace and the memories of love and laughter can be your reward.
