I am so sorry for your loss. Jane will be missed and will never be forgotten. Her impact is everywhere, and we are so grateful for the time we had with her. Take comfort in 1 Corinthians chapter 15. Jane was one of the brightest lights in our class. She was intelligent, kind and down to earth. When I think of Jane I always think of her with a book. I found out about Looking for Mr Goodbar from her lol. I read her list of accomplishments and was not surprised after all Jane was the only one who understood the metric system in 6th grade another lol. I hope all the loved ones she left behind on this earth find a way to find peace and a new relationship with Jane. Just look to the sky because I know she will be there.

I love Jane. Working with Jane was the best experience because of her sense of humor and her commitment to helping people. I loved hearing her stories about her family and life. I will miss seeing her walking by with Molly and joining her for her walk around the neighborhood. When the kerrie bush blooms I will always think of Jane. My thoughts and prayers are with her family at such a difficult time. Jane and I grew up together, I have known her since elementary school. We will always have good memories to cherish. It breaks my heart to see her go at such a young age, but now I know she is no longer in pain. My heart breaks for the McDowell and Felsmann families as they grieve for the loss of their beloved Jane – my sincere condolences.

Dear Chris, Nate, Meg, and the extended McDowell-Felsmann families--Jane was a beloved friend, and such a dear, wonderful, and wickedly funny person. I will miss her so much. We worked together for 10 years at Yale, and have stayed close ever since. She created the Hospital Elder Life Program (HELP) with me, which is helping hundreds of thousands of persons worldwide. We shared the same taste in books, and read many together or in sequence. She touched so many people, so beloved. Family was everything to her. She will live on forever in my heart. I am SO Sorry to hear about this Chris, Nate, and Meg.
I taught Nate in preschool, worked with Jane in the College of Nursing, and my daughter Alex dances at the same studio as Meg. I consider it a blessing to have known Jane in so many ways.

My path crossed with Jane so many times. She was a nurse educator at Mount Nittany when I first started working as an RN. She was one of my preceptors for my clinical practicum hours during my Master's program. She was a rock star Project Director and my colleague at the College of Nursing. And through those years we became friends. I could have a conversation about anything with Jane, and no matter the topic it usually involved a decent amount of laughter. She was an honest, kind, funny human being, and I'm a better person to have known her and called her a friend. My deepest condolences to you all.
