My father, Tom, brother, Fred and I send our deepest sympathy at the loss of your mother. Shirley and Tom, Joan, and Donna, lived just a few doors away from each other in Pleasant Gap and used to play together as children. I know my parents enjoyed meeting yours for Thanksgiving at PJ Harrington's for many years. A few years ago our family hosted Donna and Joan's families at a local restaurant and Gene brought Shirley. Aunt Donna used to visit her at the Oaks. I think Shirley may have sung at Aunt Joan's wedding around 1950. I notified Joan today who has been living at Windy Hill Assisted Living in Philipsburg for about a year. She sends her condolences too. I remember vividly your mother's beautiful smile, good sense of humor, and stylist appearance. These past few years may have been difficult ones but you can take comfort that she is now reunited with your father and brother in heavenly peace.
Love,
Ruth Ann
