Dear friends and family of Lisa,
I regret that I won't be able to make it to State College on Thursday evening. I'm so sorry that the world has lost Lisa's light, but perhaps it's still shining brightly from a different vantage point. Just as her lovely obituary stated, she was a kind and loving soul. Lisa has always been a friend and an inspiration, particularly in these last few years, as she managed her challenges with positivity and grace -- and, that's not an easy thing to do - yet, for her it seemed simple, innate. She accomplished a lot in her short life and I feel grateful that I got to be a part of it, at least from time to time over the years. I know how much she loved her family and friends and so I can't even imagine how difficult it must be for you to have lost her - my heart goes out to you all. She will be missed.
