My sincere condolences for the loss of your loved one. Be assured that the almighty God truly cares for the family!
May you find comfort in the promise that "... there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous" (Acts 24:15), and very soon "... no resident will say, 'I am sick'" (Isa. 33:24) because "... death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”(Rev. 21:4)

The loss is so great. The pain and the sorrow overwhelming. I remember Lee as a girl when she would visit ND. Her laughter was contagious. And I loved the deep tone of her voice. I am sure her laughter brought joy to so many. And her voice a soothing comfort for those in need.

My deepest condolences goes out to Ms. Lee and her family. So sorry for your lost. I am a graduate from Penn State, and during my time there I would spend a lot of time in the Student activities room either getting work done, studying, or just socializing with the people who worked there. Ms. Lee always made me feel welcomed and was always willing to give my friend and I the best advice possible in regards to anything. She will truly be missed by the Penn State community!

So sorry we cannot express our sympathy in person. It was with a heavy heart that we received the sad news of her passing. Know that we all enjoyed your Mom's wonderful spirit, smile, and kindness. Her memory will shine on through the two of you and the many hearts she touched. At this very sad time, may deep faith strengthen you and the love of family and friends carry you. Think each passing day as one day closer to being reunited. Be assured our prayers are with you...and we will continue to remember her too. Hugs to you both, Maddie and Andrew.

Gone From My Sight
I am standing upon the seashore. A ship, at my side,
spreads her white sails to the moving breeze and starts
for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength.
I stand and watch her until, at length, she hangs like a speck
of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other.
Then, someone at my side says, "There, she is gone."
Gone where?
Gone from my sight. That is all. She is just as large in mast,
hull and spar as she was when she left my side.
And, she is just as able to bear her load of living freight to her destined port.
Her diminished size is in me -- not in her.
And, just at the moment when someone says, "There, she is gone,"
there are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices
ready to take up the glad shout, "Here she comes!"

A truly special lady that touched the hearts of countless. I will never forget the love she shared with me during my time at OLV and she made OLV feel like home. She had a way to always put a smile on everyone she met and kids, including me, would look forward to talking with her at school everyday. It's hard to put into words the power of her impact and to hold back tears writing this. She was loved by all and maybe even more powerful, she expressed loved to all.
Her heart will live on through her legacy. Heaven got another Angel. Prayers and thoughts to your family during this time.

I am so sorry to hear of your great loss. Recently I lost my dear mother, and found
great comfort in the Holy Bible, like at Isaiah 25 verse 8 - "The Sovereign Lord will
swallow up death forever, and wipe away the tears from all faces." Also at
Revelation 21 verse 4, we find God's promise to remove both pain and death.

Dearest Maddie and Andrew,
Our thoughts are with both of you and your entire family as you go through this most difficult time. Your mom touched the hearts of my daughter, Georgianna, and and my sons, Nick and Zach. They were all in "1B" and "Mrs. Marshall" was always the person who dried their tears, made them laugh, and gave them hugs. I cannot tell you how many times, while getting ready in the morning so many years ago, when they were sad, worried about something, etc. the answer was always "Don't worry. Mrs. Marshall is there!" I know that my three children who had the privilege of knowing and being loved by her are only three of the many, many children she touched. She has left a legacy of love and memories and kindness behind her. You will be in our prayers and in our hearts forever.
Love,
Jaimie, Luke, and Emma Miller and Georgi, Nick, and Zach DeCarmine

Lee Marshall was a rare gem. When we think of her, it is always with a big, beautiful smile on her face and a gleam in her eye, like she was about to crack a joke, which she usually was. She loved every child, even the difficult ones, and did her best to make life better for them. She brightened every room with her infinite humor and loving heart. She will be sorely missed by this community.
Our thoughts and prayers continue to go out to Andrew, Maddie and the rest of her family.
