Cindy, Wendy, and Steve,
My heart goes out to you three who have lost your mom. She was a great mom and you were lucky to have her in your lives. Her influence will live on through you. Although I didn't know your mother as well as I would have liked to, I can infer through family stories and the qualities you possess that she was kind and strong with a positive attitude and almost otherworldly organizational skills. I was pleased to have been able to tell her this summer that she had raised two amazing women- she agreed.
Many thanks to you Wendy for all the time, love and attention you devoted to your mom in the last year. Besides enabling Marilyn to complete her bucket list, it brought great comfort to Cindy to know you were there for her mom.
Two last thoughts; Your mom's love for that star magnolia in her backyard has formed a permanent association for me between the flower and her.I wish that back in the day our two families could have water-skied together on the lake.
May you find comfort and acceptance in the coming year.
