Dear Jim and Laura,
I was so shocked and deeply saddened to learn of your loss of Cindy. I had no idea she had been ill and hope for everyone's sake that she didn't suffer long. I always enjoyed the Christmas cards, pictures and newsy notes she sent every year. Even though you moved away from Claysville long ago, I still considered you all to be my friends. What a beautiful obituary and tribute to Cindy ~ I didn't know that she was involved in so many things. I'm sure she will be deeply missed by many many people whose lives she touched. I hope you and Laura are healing from your loss day by day even though I know it will take a long while. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy at this time.
Sincerely,
Michelle Sprowls

To Jim Maund and family-
I want to express my sympathy to you following Cindy's death. While you may not know me, I have fond memories of Cindy, as she was a good friend of our daughter, Cindy Davis (later Cindy Paulson). They knew each other from Junior High days and later, although we lived out of state during their high school years. Both became PSU students.
Cindy's thoughtfulness was shown when she came to our home after my husband died and, later, to our church when our Cindy's older son, Andrew, sang when he was a student at Westminster Choir College. I greatly appreciated her effort to be in contact with us. You may know that our Cindy died very tragically in 2003.
My prayers for your healing are with you,
Barbara Davis

Cindy was a special classmate all through school in State College. Always kind to everyone. I'm so sorry to learn of her passing at her young age. I left State College in June of 1977 and moved to Georgia. I'll always remember her in our school days. May God's grace and peace be with her family and friends. Anne Chubb

"Your dead will live. My corpses will rise up. Awake and shout joyfully, You residents in the dust! For your dew is as the dew of the morning. And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." (Isaiah 26:19) This prophecy tells us that one day we will see our dead loved ones again in a new world! Please seek Jehovah God to see his promises fulfilled....

Jim and Laura and family,
Thoughts and prayers are with you from a fellow Good Shepherd parish family and choir member. The mass today was beautiful- and Laura you did an amazing job playing the violin- that was truly touching and I know your mother loved it so much. May it help bring you comfort knowing that many are praying for you at this time of adjustment.

Jim and Laura, I am so very sorry for your loss. Cindy was a dear lifelong friend. We shared so many memories over the years from Jr High, College and beyond. I am so glad we were able to spend the day together my last visit during our hs reunion. We had a connection on so many levels. I cherish these memories and know that her spirit will live on in each of us. She loved you both dearly and Laura talked of you with such love and hope for your future. I am sorry I can't make it up for her service but will be thinking of you and keeping you in prayer.
May God bring you comfort and Peace in the coming days. Blessed Be.
