Dear all,
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Pastor Rohrbaugh.
He was such an inspiration for me in my early formative years of spiritual development. He was a very strong presence who instilled confidence and a "can do" attitude in others. All with a sense of humor!
I loved how he would bring The Bible and services to life with creative ideas like walking the wooden cross to Sunrise Service, outdoor Sunrise Services on the mountain, drinking water instead of wine for communion, and the tree without leaves at Christmas to name a few.
I pray for peace in your heart.

Your dead will live. My corpses will rise up. Awake and shout joyfully, You residents in the dust! For your dew is as the dew of the morning. And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life. (Isaiah 26:19) This prophecy tells us that one day we will see our dead loved ones again in a new world! Please seek jehovah god to see his promises fulfilled...

Dear Mrs. Carola Rohrbaugh and Family,
With heartfelt sympathy, we want to say how sorry we are for your loss. Pastor Rohrbaugh married Bob and I on July 28, 1961 on a Friday evening at the Gatesburg Lutheran Church. At the time, we were the 2nd couple that he married. We now have been married 56 years. So, we would say he did a good job. We remember him fondly. He was a very kind and giving person.
We are keeping you all in prayer for peace and comfort at this very difficult time.
Sincerely,
Bob & Darla Franks

My Dear Carola,
I was so saddened to see that Rev. Rohrbaugh passed. Although I know you and he were expecting it, it is never easy even for those with your great faith.
I will never forget the day that you and he came in to look at the Liberty Hill home that I had listed for sale and was holding an open house. You came in with your list and knew exactly what you wanted in your next home. When you brought your husband in, he was certain that was what he also wanted for you. He wanted you to be where you would have friends nearby. Loving you, looking after you, what a wonderful man.
Please always enjoy that home and remember how much he loved you. Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of that wonderful transition,
With warm regards
Vicki Wedler

We are saddened to hear of Bob's passing. He was such a close friend to my Dad and Mom and I know they had many happy times together (you, too, Carola). We cannot attend the service as we will be out of town but please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear of your great loss. Recently I lost my dear mother, and found
great comfort in the Holy Bible, like at Isaiah 25 verse 8 - "The Sovereign Lord will
swallow up death forever, and wipe away the tears from all faces." Also at
Revelation 21 verse 4, we find God's promise to remove both pain and death.
