Even though we the Sankers lived so far away, Grandma Marian always sent birthday and Christmas cards, with her beautiful looping cursive hand writing. The visits were never long enough (the pipes were often in danger of freezing), but I will always remember picking up the best dressed couple at the gate. Grandpa and Grandma Marian are in many cherished memories. I still root for...and have occasionally worn Penn State football gear given to me all those years ago. I miss them both.
