Just learned of Tom's passing -- so sorry to hear it.
Tom was a good friend and mentor to Bill Kimmel and me when we started our consulting business in '87. He shared his wisdom and even sent business our way. I've always been grateful for knowing Tom. 73...

My condolences for you loss. I worked with Tom with my dad when I first started my engineering career in 1984. He was always enthusiastic about meeting and solving engineering challenges.

To Jo and family,
I saw the notice in the paper about Tom's passing, and I want to offer my condolences. I just want to say that I was proud to have played a small part in the early start-up of Seven Mountains Scientific. And I also thoroughly enjoyed our many lunches at Duffy's while at Locus and later years. My prayers will be with you all.
Respectfully,
Jerry Gross

I first met Tom when he helped teach an adult education class in amateur radio at the Frazier Street school. With Tom's assistance I received my first amateur license, K3UGQ. A couple of years later our paths crossed again when Tom was a grad student at the PSU Radio Astronomy observatory and I worked as a technician in the summer during college. Tom's enthusiasm and humor were contagious making the summer job a true pleasure. RIP old friend.
