Hi Reeders
So sorry for your loss. Your mother, as a teacher, touched so many lives. She particularly influenced my mother, Honey Samsa. I would often hear that Edna Lou says ------- from Mom. I know that the loss of her is very mournful, but consider her influences even more. The number of teachers (and student teachers) that she influenced is very great.

Ednilou was the vitality that marked the LHS Class of '57. Her smile and laughter were infectious, and she brightened every room she entered. My condolences to her children and grandchildren, and also to her siblings who I met and enjoyed in our travels through life. I will miss her zest for life, and her caring compassion in all she did. She was one of a kind.

Our neighbor of 25 years, we loved her so deeply. We shared the ups and downs of our lives with her and she did the same with us. Lou watched over us, helping to raise our sons, and laughing at their shenanigans because she's seen it all before in her own big loving family. To know Lou was to love her. She laughed easily, loudly, and often....that's what we will miss the most. Bless you dear Lou.
