I am so sorry to hear of Guy's death. I worked together with him through our school districts as well as with Energy Programs at Penn State. He was always so professional and conscientious in everything he did. He took great pride in his work and had a passion for science. He valued his wonderful family above all. He will be greatly missed by many. Please accept my sincere sympathy at this very difficult time.
Sincerely, Dee Stout

Guy was the most loyal friend a person could have. Guy was like a 2nd son to my mother.

My sincere condolences to you Nancy, John, and Eric. Guy was the uncle who always remembered your birthday with a card, pictures of family events with dates and names on the back, listen to your teacher stories with a calm demeanor, and rarely ever went over a posted speed limit. He was always interested in his family roots from Sweden. I am so glad he got to go to Sweden to check on his ancestry. Guy will be missed.

Nancy - I am so very sorry to hear of Guy's passing. He made such an impact in my life and career. He helped to create and then recognized and fostered my love of science. He demonstrated all of the finest qualities of an outstanding teacher which I could only hope to emulate. I remember his dry, but hysterically funny, sense of humor through the last 40+ years. Please accept my very heartfelt and deepest sympathies.

I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to all of you. Guy was an absolutely wonderful man. He was so kind and patient. I remember the times from my childhood where you all would visit us or we would visit you. The Andersons were always in the picture as I grew up and I have such fond memories of those times. The thing that struck me when he was my chemistry teacher was that nothing ever ruffled him. He was so calm and the type of teacher that I still try to be. Guy impacted my life and I am so sorry for your loss.
