Obituary of Guy E. Anderson

It is with great sadness that the family of Guy E. Anderson, 67, of Boalsburg, formerly of Bellefonte, announces his passing on Sunday, December 9, 2018 after a very brief illness. Guy was a 1972 graduate of Clarion State College and served as a chemistry teacher for the Bald Eagle Area School District for 34 years. Upon retirement he was an instructor in the chemistry labs at the Penn State University. Guy was also very active in local genealogy clubs and assisted many others in researching their family histories. Guy will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 43 years, Nancy, and his children, Eric of Boalsburg and John (Amanda) of Red Lion, PA, as well as his two beloved granddaughters. He is also survived by his brother Clyde Anderson (Norma) of Kane, PA along with several nieces and nephews. Guy was preceded in death by his parents, Agnes Roxie Nelson and Oliver Lauraine Anderson and sisters, Nancy Anderson Benninger (Chuck) and Anna Anderson Swank. A celebration of Guy's life will be held at a later day.
