Much love forever Pop, I will miss you like crazy... I hope the Chiefs win the super bowl for you this year. I can’t believe you’re done, but I’m so relieved you’re not hurting anymore. I promise to always take care of things & importantly the cabin. Thank you for all you’ve given me, shown me & taught me in life. Greatest Pop I could ever ask for, I hope I’ll make you proud in all my future endeavors. I know you already were. My future children will always hear about their grandfather & what a great man he was. A man of character, love & genuineness that will be remembered by many. The hardworking, selfless, family man that would help strangers, friends & neighbors. The guy who plowed the neighbors driveways, carried all ya kids in the Kabota bucket up from the sledding hill... Built and maintained roads up at the cabin & always cooked an amazing breakfast spread... Kept all the silly pictures I drew as a kid hanging up in the shop to this day... Taught me how to use power tools, hang drywall, paint walls, now the grass, change a tire & the oil, basic carpentry & the importance of family. Thank you for serving this country in Vietnam & protecting us all. Love ya, Captain <3

Sarah - We are so sorry to hear of Larry's passing. Many thanks to him for his willingness to serve our country. We understand the sacrifice that entails. I remember Larry always having a smile, but you knew when that smile was gone, he was up to something! A prank would soon follow. Our prayers are with you and your family.

We are so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in God's sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible (Acts 24:15, John 5:28, 29). Those who are raised to life on a restored paradise earth will have the prospect of never again being subjected to misery, sickness, and death (Revelation 21:4). These and other comforting Bible verses and thoughts can be found at jw.org.
