Gerry, I am Stephen Boris, I apologize for not thinking of your sooner, Today is the ten year anniversary of that fateful day at Welch Pool. Though I had sat through many adult lap swims, you certainly made that day eventful! Thank you for all the positivity you spread and your chipper up-beat attitude! I always remember my parents and all of the lap swimmers from the old welch pool, and I believe that (since I started at age 15) you were one of the only regulars we could count on. Im glad on that day you could count on us. Gerry, please know that though out time was brief and intense, you really left your mark on the pool you always swam at. God bless you, your family, and your kin. I will cherish life and every moment, from the good to the bad. Bless you

Steven, this is such a lovely tribute and we appreciate you taking the time to remember Dad. He always loved his time during lap swim at Welch Pool, and it was very important for him to remind the lifeguards that their jobs are of great importance. He was so grateful to you, Luke, and Taylor for what you did to revive him ten years ago. Because of your valiant efforts, he was able to enjoy a few more years of living life to the fullest with us.
