The world has lost a good one. Life will always be a little less funny without the sarcastic wit of this dear sweet soul. Always the life of the party, Pete was the best at making everyone laugh. But he was so much more than that. He was the center of the Romaine universe. He loved his family more than life itself, and that sweet bond can never be broken, not even in death. He had a way of making us outsiders feel like family as well, always welcoming us in with open arms. I see so much of him in all of his amazing daughters and grandchildren, and I feel confident that his spirit will live forever through each of them, and through the stories that we will all undoubtedly be telling of him for generations to come.
