Reading through Edie's life story brought both tears and smiles AND amazement! What a life!! But, oh, what a woman! Though I had only met Edie a few times, she always greeted me like an old friend. One evening at Kelly's for dinner, I looked over and who did I see? Edie and Lou sitting at the bar, having their dinner. I went over to say hello and asked if I could take their picture. This is how I remember her. Always with a beautiful, welcoming smile - and with her beloved Lou at her side. Edie sparkled. Lou glowed with love. Edie blessed all who ever came into her presence with that brilliant smile and loving spirit. My deepest and heartfelt condolences to all of Edie's family.
