Obituary of Lynn Richard Lietzke
Lynn Richard "Dick" Lietzke, 77, of Port Matilda, died Sunday, December 6, 2020, at Mount Nittany Medical Center.
Born July 22, 1943, in St. Johns, MI, he was the son of the late Kermit P. and Daune McGinnis Lietzke. On April 21, 1979 he married Debra Lawrence, who survives.
In addition to his wife, Dick is survived by three children, Jonathan P. Lietzke of Port Matilda, Stephanie L. Miller and her husband Scott of Port Matilda, and Jameson R. Lietzke and his wife Valarie of Marietta, GA; a sister, Karen Konstas and her husband Panos of Arlington, VA; a brother-in-law, Richard Lawrence and his wife Patricia of Goodrich, MI; a sister-in-law, Teresa Dubois and her husband Donald of Sterling Heights, MI; and three grandchildren, Wyatt and Abel Miller, and Brooklynn Lietzke.
Dick graduated from St. Johns high school in 1961. He earned his bachelor's degree in Agriculture from Michigan State in 1965. He also served in the United States National Guard. He worked as a territory manager for John Deere.
Dick attended State College Alliance Church. He loved animals, yard work, farming, and flying his plane.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 10, 2020 from 6-8 pm at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton Street, State College; and Friday, December 11, 2020 from 10-11 am at State College Alliance Church, 1221 W. Whitehall Rd, State College.
Funeral service will be Friday, December 11, 2020 at 11:00 am at State College Alliance Church, with Chad Oberholtzer officiating. So that appropriate pandemic-related plans can be made, guests attending the service are asked to fill out the following online RSVP form: https://statecollegecma.ccbchurch.com/goto/forms/335/responses/new. Live streaming will be available at live.scalliancechurch.com.
Burial will be in Graysville Cemetery.
