Anna Carol, or we sometimes just called her AC in our Pollack Halls dorm and Alpha Delta Pi suite. A dear friend, she befriended me during our years at beloved Penn State 1964-1967, Anna Carol was my dear roommate and true friend. She was a force, an organizer, always taking care of details to make each meeting, study session, or meal lovely and special. She was in our wedding June 24, 1967, just a week after graduation. We went our separate ways, to grad school, moving many different places. Rick and I visited Denny and AC in Florida, and once again in State College when our children were young. We kept in touch and reached out to each other, not often, but in times of need and caring. WE send love and caring to Anna Carol’s family, Rick and Chris Walter

My wife and I both had the privilege of coming to know AC as Penn State students who rang with the Bells of Grace. She was so much more than a musical director to us, she was family. AC was a wonderful, caring woman who really became a motherly figure to us while we lived in State College as students. She would always go out of the way to ask how we were doing and try to put a smile on our faces. Some of our fondest memories are helping her find her keys after she had misplaced them in the church (again). There was also the time when her and Val drove 3 hours to our wedding, only to check into the sketch motel. At our last bell festival, everyone needed to bring some brownies, and we had made a special batch with Kahlua icing that we had set aside...let's just say AC accidentally put them in with the rest of the brownies. We pray that as the Lord calls her home she knows she is loved and will be missed. We extend our condolences and love to family and friends during this difficult time.
