I was so sorry to recently just hear about Mary Lou's passing. We lived next to Mary Lou for the last 17 years and had just recently moved away. She was an amazing neighbor -- always so kind and caring. She made amazing strawberry jam that she always shared with us. She watched our children grow up and always was so interested in their lives. Mary Lou was also my social studies teacher in 8th grade. She was fun, creative and always held us to high standards with our own personal learning and goals. She will be greatly missed.

Rest in peace, Mary Lou! You were the most gracious host of all of our crazy Krislund reunions. Very grateful for your wonderful kids and for Maggie - all of your love and kindness lives on in the people you've left behind.

You have list a wonderful person. I had the pleasure of working with Mary Lou at Park Forest Jr. high and at Mt. Nittany Middle School. She always had a smile for everyone and was a loved teacher by her students. Condolences to her family. She will be missed.
