Sue was a lovely woman and a great friend to our museum. Her love of glass was evident in her eyes when speaking about artists, and I will cherish the opportunity I had with some of my colleagues to visit her home and see her own collection there, and on view on campus at the Palmer Museum. She was also a fantastic travel companion and joined us on numerous trips of the Ennion Society to ‘glassy’ places around the globe. Her legacy will live on at The Corning Museum of Glass through her support of our Studio, serving the needs of glass artists now and in the future.
