Sue opened her home and heart to sweet Mark-the-Cat when we were unable to bring him with us to our new lives in Richmond in 2016- and that lucky cat, who she called Marky, got to spend his twilight years in her company, riding shotgun on her vacation adventures, and thriving in her care. I cherished her occasional notes sharing Marky's escapades, his seemingly endless vet needs that she tended to so faithfully, and her appreciation and love for him. I will always feel grateful for Sue's love and care for the other-than-human. It is a gift. To her family, I am so sorry for your loss. Kristen Saacke Blunk
